Malini is committed to educating and teaching via speaking engagements, training workshops, and conferences to increase community awareness and support for mental health and disabilities.
For adults in her general psychology practice, Malini provides therapy for depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, specific phobias, OCD type behaviour, panic attacks, and culturally and linguistically diverse issues. She offers secondary consultation and support for complex dual disability issues, and funding support packages.
On a personal note, Malini’s passion for her work started as a young child growing up in a small town in India. Her mother Mrs Kanchan Singh was raised in a Christian orphanage and educated herself to get a scholarship to study disabilities in the USA. She returned and followed her vision of starting disability education as part of mainstream education and co-founded the first school of its kind in Uttar Pradesh in 1975. She worked tirelessly throughout her life to promote disability awareness and community support. Malini is committed to continue that legacy in her work and faith. She is a wife and mother juggling a very full and blessed life with her two Lagottos, many wonderful friends, mentors, and her family.
